Senior Pastor: Dr. James A. Miller
​
​
James is married to Linda McNeal Miller and is blessed with two adult sons. His two grandsons are the delight of his life.
​
Prior to becoming a pastor, James was pursuing a Master’s degree in the computer field. He had been a computer programmer in the engineering department at General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas. Following his engineering experience, he was employed by Texas Electric Service Company as a systems analyst in the financial department. Unable to resist God’s call to ministry, James accepted the pastorate of a small church and pursued his Master’s and Doctoral degrees at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary while leading two churches.
Believing that the Word of God, the Bible, is the only reliable guide for life and the key to experiencing real joy in this life and in eternity, James has devoted himself to sharing spiritual truth in a way that can be applied to the daily situations individuals face.

Financial Coordinator & Bible Study Director: Linda Russell
​
Linda serves as a volunteer lay leader and has also served as a staff member at The Heights. Her leadership as Bible Study Director reaches from toddlers to Senior Adults. Linda is passionate about "teaching and making disciples" and serving the Lord. Linda is devoted to her family and enjoying the blessing of two granddaughters.
Education Minister: Alexis Blair
​
Alexis oversees the educational ministries for kids through adults. She is passionate about equipping people to know and grow in their knowledge and love for the Lord. Prior to serving at the Heights, she served for several years at a growing church in Florida. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Educational Ministries from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Student Minister: Paul Mata

Paul comes to us with 14 years of experience leading teams of Youth/Students in developing personal relationships with God. As a mission oriented Student Minister he is equipped to positively impact our Students through mentoring, instruction and activities built around engaging students in middle school and high school.
Worship Pastor: Ricky Salvato
​
Ricky is Passionate about Music and Mission Ministry and uses these gifts to enhance worship for all members of the congregation. He has experience with planning and creating a worship team that provides the opportunity for other to use their gifts to glorify the Lord.
Mother's Day Out Director: Julie Shar

Julie has been blessing the children and families of our MDO program since 2020. She loves working with kids and we are delighted to have her.
Administrative Assistant: Vicki McCollum
Vicki Mc Collum joined The Heights staff in 2021. Vicki keeps the office going in the afternoons and is ready to help. We are blessed to have her!

Kathy Booth joined The Heights staff in 2017. Kathy is the wonderfully organized, friendly face that you will see right when you walk into our office. Kathy is a wonderful new addition to our staff!
