CHILDREN
We're Called to Develop Disciples
At The Heights, we believe God's word teaches that children can learn to follow God's truths and accept His love at an early age. Our children's ministry seeks to teach God's word in creative and engaging ways by trained children's workers in a safe & kid-friendly facility.

KidZone provides opportunities for worship & discipleship for ages birth thru 5th grade.
KidZone is available during any regularly scheduled adult worship times. After a simple check-in process, your child will enjoy a fun & engaging time in a safe environment. Below is a schedule of KidZone Activities & classroom numbers. For directions to classrooms, download a map of the building HERE.

KidZone Children's Worship
While adults participate in worship during the Sunday morning service, children will enjoy an engaging, age-appropriate worship time in the KidZone Children's Church. The children will worship thru fun worship music, learn life-applicable Bible truths, memorize scripture, and reinforce their learnings by means of games & crafts. Children's church meets in Room 106 from 10:50-12:00 each Sunday morning.

Mission: To Empower The Next Generation
Vision: We recognize the uniqueness of every child. We are committed to reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to disciple, equip, and release them for ministry in the church and as missionaries in the world.
This curriculum’s primary focus is to raise a generation of preteens who are surrendered to Christ, who
serve in His church, and who reach the world as missionaries.
It takes preteens through 4-steps that bring transformation in their lives and equips them for ministry and missions.
These include: FAMILY, DISCIPLESHIP, MINISTRY & MISSIONS

Wednesday Nights at 6:00 PM
Room 108
Nehemiah was a cupbearer to King Artaxerxes. Before he became a leader of Israel, he was a servant. N.K. develops servant-leadership in Kinder -4th grades. It is a replica of Leaders In Training (L.I.T.) for preteens. N.K.s have a daily devotional (brief Bible studies that take about five to fifteen minutes a day) six days a week. This is also a tool by which parents can disciple their children at home and help them develop their daily walk with Christ. The devotional includes Parent Talk on Day 6 of each week that helps parents know what their child is learning and gives them guidance for bringing the application in their home and neighborhood. Through the Disciple Group materials, the leader reinforces what the children learn at home, helps the children discover their spiritual gifts, and engages them in serving and ministering within their group.
