Music/Worship

"The whole assembly bowed in worship, while the singers sang and the trumpeters played... When the offerings were finished, the king and everyone present with him knelt down and worshipped." (New King James Version) 2 Chronicles 29:28-29

Our desire at The Heights is to lead each person to glorify our God. We attempt to create an atmosphere of personal and corporate worship that will honor Him. Our worship is considered to be a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. We want each person to experience the presence of the Lord as they participate in the worship service.

Prayer

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." (The Message) Philippians 4:6

We want each participant to benefit through our times of prayer. We desire to meet the personal needs that can only be satisfied through a devoted time of communication with our Almighty God. Our prayer altar is open for anyone during the worship service and Prayer Team members are available to pray with you, if desired.

We encourage prayer concerns to be shared with our prayer team so each request can be continually lifted up. Our Intercessors Prayer Ministry helps to develop, lead, and promote a church-wide ministry to deepen the relationship of believers with the Lord.
