You think you have tried to be good (or the best you could be), but you still feel empty and alone. Is there something missing from your life? If you've tried lots of things to make your life seem right, but nothing worked and you are unsatisfied, then turn to the One who created you--God! He can fill lthe emptiness in your life and give your life purpose.

God has given us a vital book that contains His answers--the Bible. It has the instructions for us so we can have joy, hope, and peace.
We were separated from God because of sin in the beginning of the world. But God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin. He had no sin in His life, but He died on a cross to pay for your sins. Three days later, He rose from the dead.

All of us have sinned.
Since we've compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored to us where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.
(The Message Translation) Romans 3:23

Sin separates us from God. We are all lost, but He still wants a relationship with us.
For the wages of sin is death. (New Living Translation) Romans 6:23

God has done something for us that we could not do for ourselves.
...but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (New Living Translation) Romans 6:23

God loves us and proved it by allowing His son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (New International Version) Romans 5:8

If we trust in what Christ did for us, put our total faith in Him we will be saved from our sins.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. (New Living Translation) Romans 10:9-10

One can be saved only by the grace of God. You cannot be "good enough" to earn it. It is a gift from Him!
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. (New Living Translation) Ephesians 2:8-9

Once you are saved you do not lose it!
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below--indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(New Living Translation) Romans 8:38-39

The most important decision in your life will be whether or not you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. You must choose forgiveness and a relationship with God.

Suggested Prayer:

"Dear Lord, I know I have done wrong. I am willing to turn from my sins. I believe Jesus Christ died for me. I place my trust in You for my salvation. I receive You into my life as my Savior and Lord and this free gift of eternal life. Amen."

If you have just prayed this prayer and accepted Christ, we would like to know so that we can celebrate with you! If you have questions or concerns, please contact us. We want to encourage you in your walk with the Lord!

arrow Membership
To join The Heights as a member is a simple process. Each Sunday at the end of the worship service an invitation is given. Anyone who has made one of the following decisions will come to the front and share their decision with a counselor:

  1. A person or family can move their membership from another Baptist church to join The Heights.
2. A person or family from another denomination can join The Heights membership by statement.
3. A person can reveal their acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Savior. They will be encouraged to follow up
with believer's baptism.
4. A person can show they have a renewed relationship with Jesus. This is called rededication.

If a person or family desires to only join their Connection Group class, then they may do so during the class.

The Heights offers many opportunities for each member to be involved in the body of Christ. We want to follow biblical teaching of placing members according to their spiritual gifts to work in the church body. If you are not aware of your spiritual gifts, we will be glad to help you with a spiritual gift inventory.
